100th Anniversary Parking & Transportation Details

Thursday, June 13, 2013  Our 100th Anniversary is now only 2 days away. We are expecting a very large crowd and over 100 fire trucks to be in attendance at both the parade and following celebration. Due to an anticipated high volume of traffic in Stirling, we strongly encourage people not within walking distance to utilize either the event shuttle bus or NJ transit as listed below.

**Shuttle Bus Service** - There will be a bus shuttle available that runs every 30 minutes between the hours of 10am and 10pm on the day of the event. It's 2 stops will be the Gillette School parking lot and Main Street near High Gear. Those driving their car should park in the Gillette School Parking lot and take the shuttle bus to the parade/celebration. This can be used for those leaving the event as well.

**NJ Transit** - The Stirling train station is located along the parade route and is also a 1 minute walk from the Stirling Fire House where the celebration will be. This makes utilizing the train a extremely convenient option to attend the event. Trains will be running on a normal schedule throughout the day and we encourage you to use this method of travel. Click below for a NJ transit train schedule link.

NJ Transit Train Schedule

Again, the Stirling section of the township will be crowded throughout the day on June 15th, 2013. We suggest you avoid driving your personal vehicle in the area and make use of alternate transportation listed above.
